Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kinshasa

Picked up at Ndjili International Airport, transfer to hotel, introduction to Kinshasa and DRC, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game Drive in Nsele Valley Park

Morning game drive in Nsele Valley Park, sighting zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, lions, and more. Activities include horse riding, zip-lining, kayaking, hiking, and mini-golf.

Day 3: Kisantu Botanical Garden

Visit Kisantu Botanical Garden with over 4000 plant species including 92 palm tree varieties. Continue to Zongo waterfalls.

Day 4: Zongo Waterfall

Explore Zongo Waterfall (65m), enjoy the aquatic vegetation, natural shower effects, then visit Mbanza Ngungu village and historic train sites.

Day 5: Dimber Cave

Visit Dimber Cave near Mbanza Ngungu, see the prehistoric workshop inside the kilometer-long cave, return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Return to Kinshasa

Breakfast, visit National Museum, meet the mystical sapeurs at Victoire Square, enjoy Suku music, dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Flight to Goma

Transfer to Ndjili Airport for domestic flight to Goma, arrive and check-in at hotel.

Day 8: Transfer to Bukavu

Breakfast, drive to Bukavu, enjoy a 3-hour boat cruise, visit Lwiro Primate Sanctuary, transfer to Tshivanga for relaxation and overnight.

Day 9: Gorilla Habituation in Kahuzi-Biega

Early morning breakfast, participate in gorilla habituation, spend time observing gorilla family in their natural habitat.

Day 10: Tchegera Island

Drive back to Goma via Bukavu, transfer to Tchegera Island for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 11: Leisure & Exploration at Tchegera Island

Enjoy kayaking, swimming, and boat cruise exploring surroundings with views of Nyiragongo and Nyamuragira volcanoes, return to the island for overnight.

Day 12: Goma City Tour

Boat cruise to Goma, city tour including historical sites, dinner and overnight at hotel.
