Safari Overview

This safari combines Kenya’s iconic Amboseli National Park, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, and Masai Mara Game Reserve with Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for an unforgettable wildlife and primate experience. Witness elephants against Mount Kilimanjaro, track black rhinos at Lewa, enjoy predators on hunt in the Mara, and meet endangered mountain gorillas in Uganda.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kenya – Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

Meet your driver-guide and transfer to Giraffe Manor. Welcome dinner and safari briefing. Overnight at Giraffe Manor.

Day 2: Transfer to Amboseli National Park

Chartered flight to Amboseli. Check-in at Tortilis Camp with views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Afternoon relaxation and sunset viewing. Overnight stay.

Day 3: Game Drives in Amboseli National Park

Morning and evening game drives to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and giraffes. Optional Masai cultural visit. Sundowner and overnight at camp.

Day 4: Transfer to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

Chartered flight to Lewa. Check-in at Lewa Safari Camp. Afternoon game drive to see elephants, lions, black rhinos, reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Game Drives in Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

Morning and afternoon game drives. Optional walking safari. Evening sundowner and overnight at Lewa Safari Camp.

Day 6: Fly to Masai Mara Game Reserve

Chartered flight to Masai Mara. Check-in at Sala’s Camp. Afternoon game drive in the Mara. Dinner and overnight stay.

Days 7 & 8: Game Drives in Masai Mara Game Reserve

Morning and evening game drives in search of the Big Five. Optional observation of the Great Wildebeest Migration (seasonal). Overnight at lodge.

Day 9: Depart Masai Mara for Nairobi – Transfer to Entebbe, Uganda

Chartered flight to Nairobi, then short flight to Entebbe. Transfer to Lake Victoria Serena Hotel. Group dinner and safari orientation. Overnight stay.

Day 10: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Chartered flight to Kisoro, transfer to Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge. Check-in and enjoy spectacular views of Virunga volcanoes. Overnight stay.

Day 11: First Mountain Gorilla Tracking Experience

Early morning briefing and trek to a habituated gorilla family. Observe gorilla behavior in the forest. Return to lodge for lunch and a complementary massage. Dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Fly to Entebbe – Departure

Chartered flight to Entebbe. Day room at Boma Hotel to relax before your departing flight. End of safari.
