Day 1: Fly to Bwindi – Gorilla Trekking Experience – Return to Entebbe

Your adventure begins very early in the morning with transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Enjoy breathtaking aerial views of Uganda’s rolling hills, forests, lakes, and rural landscapes during the scenic flight to either Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip near Bwindi.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your local safari guide and transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guides about gorilla trekking rules and safety guidelines.

After the briefing, enter the dense rainforest and begin your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Trekking time varies depending on the movement of the gorillas and can take from a few hours to most of the day.

Once the gorillas are located, spend one unforgettable hour observing them as they feed, play, groom, and interact naturally in their forest habitat.

Watching mountain gorillas up close in the wild is an emotional and life-changing wildlife experience that few destinations in the world can offer.

After the trek, transfer back to the airstrip for your return domestic flight to Entebbe where you will arrive in the evening, marking the end of your unforgettable 1 Day Uganda Gorilla Tour.
