Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Rhino Tracking & Top of the Falls

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Kampala or Entebbe by your professional driver-guide. After a short briefing, you will set off for northern Uganda, enjoying scenic countryside views along the way.

En route, you will visit the famous Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where rhinos are protected and tracked on foot. This guided walking experience offers a rare opportunity to observe these endangered giants at close range in their natural habitat.

Continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. On arrival, visit the spectacular Top of the Falls, where the River Nile squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge before exploding into a powerful cascade. Enjoy breathtaking views, roaring waters, and misty spray from one of Uganda’s most iconic natural wonders.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Nile Boat Cruise

The open savannah landscape also provides outstanding photography opportunities.

Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise on the River Nile towards the base of the falls. Along the way, expect close encounters with large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and elephants along the riverbanks.
