Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Arusha – Tanzania

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Legendary Lodge. Relax in your room with garden views and enjoy a welcome dinner. Briefing by your head guide about the safari.

Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire National Park after breakfast. Check-in at Tarangire Treetops lodge. Afternoon game drive in search of giraffes, elephants, zebras, hartebeest, gazelles, and birds including the giant martial eagle. Welcome lunch included.

Day 3: Game Viewing in Tarangire National Park

Morning and afternoon guided game drives. Enjoy a wild sundowner, dinner, and an optional night game drive to spot nocturnal animals like African wildcats, leopards, lions, and hyenas. Overnight at Tarangire Treetops.

Day 4: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

Checkout and drive across the Great Rift Valley to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Witness Maasai homesteads and descend into the 2,000-foot-deep Ngorongoro Crater, home to a miniaturized version of East African wildlife. Check-in at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for spectacular crater views.

Day 5: Game Drives in Ngorongoro Crater

Full-day game drive exploring zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, hippos, and flamingos. Evening visit to a Maasai village to learn about their nomadic lifestyle and cultural traditions. Overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Checkout and drive to Serengeti National Park. Check-in at Singita Faru Faru Lodge in Grumeti, northern Serengeti. Afternoon game drive with sundowner cocktail. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 7: Game Drives in Serengeti National Park

Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti. Spot the Big Five, cheetahs, Thomson’s gazelles, giraffes, warthogs, impalas, and witness the Great Migration (seasonal from Nov–Dec and Mar–July). Overnight at the lodge.

Day 8: Transfer to Arusha & Depart

After breakfast, drive to nearby airstrip for a charter flight to Arusha. Lunch at Legendary Lodge, followed by transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. End of safari.
